Everyone loves Pizza!... Pizza Garden is a great idea for
those who like homemade pizza. Just buy pizza dough, fresh mozzarella cheese
and a can of sauce. What about toppings? They can be found right in your pizza
garden. Then you can make a pizza with whatever taste that suits your taste
buds.
It is fun to set a pizza garden since it is related to the delicious
recipe of making pizza and will fulfill your hobby of gardening. It can easily
be grown in a container or terrace if you have lack of space. Mostly it is
made
in circular shape with triangular beds containing different vegetables. But
before planting trees make sure to amend the area with rotted manure and
organic fertilizers. The plants which are mostly recommended for pizzas require
6-8 hours of sunlight per day and few times watering per week.
You can select your own vegetables for growing in a pizza
garden but the recommended varieties include:-
Tomatoes: - You
can grow red, orange and yellow or cherry tomatoes for a juicy and light sour
taste.
Capsicum:- Colourful
capsicums (red, green, yellow and gold) provide
best looks for a delicious pizza.
Onion: - Onions
are the most demanded vegetable for most of the pizza lovers, you can grow this
if love to have them but can replace it with some other alternative if you don’t
eat them.
Oregano:- Oregano belongs to mint family and brings a
fresh flavor.
Basil: - Basil is
the most recommended herb for pizza toppings; it brings the aroma and is
healthy as well. You can grow it in
a different pot as it is considered as a sacred and pure herb.
